If you’re shopping in the market for a fast, spacious, twin-engine turboprop, the Piaggio Avanti II will probably be near the top of your wish list. As an upgrade on the original Piaggio Avanti P180, the Piaggio Avanti II was first certified in 2005, and remained in production until 2014 when it was replaced by the Avanti EVO.
Equipped with Pratt & Whitney Canada engines, the Piaggio Avanti II incorporates two PT6A-66B powerplants, which were upgraded from the PT6A-66 powerplants used on the P180 model.
