The Citation V Light Jet was produced by Cessna, typically seating seven or eight passengers. Production started in 1989, ending in 1994 with 262 units built (per JETNET). According to Aircraft Bluebook, in Autumn 2022 the average price for a Citation V ranged between $0.90m (1989 model) and $1.02m (1994 model).


What makes the Citation V stand out?


The Citation V was longer than comparable jets, offering slightly more cabin volume than the popular Citation II it was developed from (allowing for extra passenger capacity). Equipped with Pratt & Whitney JT15D-5A engines, it has greater speed, range (1,644nm), and available payload with full fuel than the Citation II, per Conklin & de Decker, all while retaining reliable, easy-handling flying characteristics.
