Jamie Chalkley literally grew up around Warbirds... and crop spraying! Quite the contrast! Not content with that dissimilarly, he added 'helicopters' too! Following an initial fixed-wing career path Jamie switched to helicopters and has enjoyed a varied career piloting and instructing on various types ever since. Interlaced with the flying, Jamie enjoyed several years as a guest contributor in a number of aviation publications during the early 2000s and has more recently picked up the pen again for GA Buyer since rekindling his long connection with historic aircraft.
