The Cessna Citation Encore replaced the Ultra, and features PW535A engines allowing faster climb, higher cruise and increased range (1,780nm). Reduction in fuel tank size allowed for incorporation of soer-landing trailing link main landing gear while redesigned interior fittings and seats provided more seated passenger headroom.

The Citation Encore is a Light Jet produced by Cessna that is usually configured to seat seven passengers. Built between 2000 and 2006, 168 were manufactured according to JETNET. Aircraft Bluebook’s Autumn 2022 price data shows average prices range between $2.50m (2000model) and $3.70m (2006 model).
What makes the Citation Encore stand out?
As one of Cessna’s largest straight-wing Citation jets, the Encore replaced the Citation Ultra, and offers more powerful Pratt & Whitney PW535 engines helping to add greater maximum range – 1,736nm – and higher available payload with full fuel, according to Conklin & de Decker. The Encore also came with an updated interior for extra comfort, and simplified Honeywell Primus 1000 flight display consolidated into four screens.
