Cessna Citation Bravo Jet Snapshot

Matt Harris - Editor, AvBuyer magazine

The Cessna Citation Bravo replaced the Citation II jet. Although built on the basic airframe, this light jet is powered by PW530A engines, and the standard avionics suite is Honeywell's Primus 1000 glass cockpit. Typically configured for seven passengers, the Bravo flies and climbs quicker, and covers more distance.

What makes the Citation Bravo stand out?

Providing balance between performance and cost, the Citation Bravo replaced the popular Citation II/IISP jets, and included the more powerful and fuel efficient Pratt & Whitney PW530A engines, which resulted in a higher cruise speed and longer range up to 1,720nm. The flight deck was updated with the Honeywell’s Primus EFIS system, while the cabin is based on the Citation Ultra’s comfortable design.
