Dassault Falcon 8X Jet Snapshot

By Matt Harris - Editor, AvBuyer Magazine

What makes the Falcon 8X stand out?

The Falcon 8X is extremely fuel-efficient among today’s ultra-long-range jets. Powered by three Pratt & Whitney PW307D engines, it can fly 6,450nm, boasting excellent short-field, steep approach, and hot and high performance. In the cockpit, the Rafele fighter jet-derived Digital Flight Control System has optimized performance and efficiency, while the Falcon 8X also offers the longest cabin of all Falcon jets.

To date, there are 71 Falcon 8Xs in operation, of which all are wholly owned. As of April 2020, Europe accounted for the largest Falcon 8X fleet percentage (58%), followed by North America (21%) and Asia (12%) – a combined 91% of the world’s total fleet.
